D-link DIR-655 Review - Part 4: Conclusion

In closing, I really recommend this router for someone who demands speed, long range, and more than just basic features from their home router for applications such as streaming video and VOIP (Qos helps here) and home servers (gigabit, and Virtual server helps here). There are also great security options with the latest in WiFi encryption, Stateful Packet inspection, inbound filters, separate Guest SSID and more. In fact, this router offers so many configuration options that it can be a bit confusing. With its wide range of features its a bit surprising not to find VPN and the loading screens are very annoying, but overall I think this is a great router for advanced users.
